Certified Homes

115-Point Pre-Purchase Inspection:
We carefully inspect each property before we purchase it to make sure we can bring it up to our Certified Properties Standards.
Some properties have too much damage; some have neighborhood problems; some have plumbing, electrical, and mechanical problems, etc.
In other words, some properties just have too many problems for us to be able to put OUR name on them, and be able to assure our new homeowners that they’ll get a home that’s relatively trouble-free.
That’s where YEARS OF EXPERIENCE pay off for our customers—we KNOW what to look for; and which properties to stay away from.
Only one out of ten homes make it as one of our Certified Properties. But that’s the kind of homes WE want to provide for our Clients—Homes that are attractive, and that give our homeowners years of trouble-free service.
- Neighborhood
We drive around all over the DFW Metroplex; the Oklahoma City, Tulsa, and Bossier City/Shreveport areas, looking for good properties in great neighborhoods.
We look at the school districts, law enforcement agencies, emergency response teams, access to shopping, and commute-times.
We choose properties and neighborhoods based on what our Clients tell us is important to THEM; and only those properties and neighborhoods that meet their criteria are chosen as a Certified Property.
- Full Renovation
After we inspect a property, our crews use our 115-Item Certified Checklist as their renovation guideline.
In addition, the Inspector adds all of the OTHER items that he feels aren’t up to the “Certified Standard.”
We require that they bring all of the Electrical, Mechanical (A/C-Furnace), Plumbing, Septic, and Structural Systems up to our our stringent standards.
- Structural: Exterior/Interior/Roof
The structural elements include the walls, floor joists, rafters, and the foundation. We also list the roof under the “Structural” section, because if there are any roof leaks, damaged shingles, damaged roof-decking, or water-damaged ceilings, we repair and/or replace those items to prevent any future damage.
- Electrical, Plumbing, and Septic Systems
The electrical system is one of the most important systems in your home. We inspect it from the breaker-box to the plugs to make sure everything operates correctly and safely. Plumbing and septic systems are also critically important, so we check those systems out from top to bottom to make sure that there are no leaks, and that they work properly.
- Exterior, Yard, Driveway
We inspect and repair all exterior elements, including roofing, siding, skirting, and decks; and we make sure that the driveway has plenty of gravel, and meets FHA Standards.
- Interior
We paint all interior walls, install new carpet, inspect and repair/replace linoleum, and replace missing kitchen appliances with brand new, energy-efficient Whirlpool products, so you’re assured of getting either brand new appliances, or like new appliances in your CERTIFIED UMoveinNOW home.
- Air Conditioner/Furnace
We professionally reinstall and inspect the air conditioning and furnace systems, making sure that everything is in perfect working order.
- Clean Up
We professionally clean each home before making it available for sale.
- Final Inspection
We do one last inspection to make sure that EVERYTHING meets our standards. It’s only then that we release the home for sale.
- ONE YEAR EXTENDED WARRANTY
And finally, we provide a full, one year extended warranty covering electrical, mechanical, structural, and plumbing systems on all UMoveinNOW Certified Properties.
