Joshua Independent School District (as they note on their webiste) is "a highly acclaimed model of educational excellence."
That's not just a school district that is using marketing language to make themselves look better - it really means something.
We have several folks here in our company who have lived in Joshua for most of their adult lives. They've put their children through school there, and can PERSONALLY tell you how great the school system is.
Low student to teacher ratios; GREAT sports departments; GREAT Band and music department; and PROVEN ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE.
Four of our employee's children went straight from Joshua High School to major universities with big-time scholarships.
And, just down from Highland Point is a BRAND NEW ELEMENTARY SCHOOL - literally 3-minutes from where you'll be living.
Come on down and visit - get a feel for the "Joshua Experience" - If you're like most folks, you'll be proud to settle down and raise a family there. |

HIGHLAND POINT OF JOSHUA,TX
If you've lived in the Dallas/Fort Worth area long, you've probably heard what a great place Joshua is to live. It's literally minutes away from Downtown Fort Worth, but gives you thee feeling that it's WAY out in the country.
If you go up Hwy-174 to the Northeast, you come out right in the southwestern end of Burleson, and have access to some big-time amenities literally 10 minutes away.
Lowes
Home Depot
Cracker Barrel
Olive Garden
Chilis
Golden Corral
Movies
And all of the other stuff you'd like to have in a small town, but rarely see. Burleson, which is practically in your backyard, is a bustling little town, with a lively downtown area (and has some GREAT restaurants!), and lots of interesting things to do on the weekends.
Highland Point itself is a premium manufactured housing community located about halfway between Farm to Market -1187 and Farm to Market - 917, just off Farm to Market - 1092. It's a quiet community with great restrictions, beautiful homes, good roads, and plenty of room to enjoy your outdoors life.
Horses are welcome! And you can enjoy your pets without anyone bothering you.
On the weekends, you'll find people out riding horses, working in their yards, smoking a brisket, or just enjoying the outdoors.
Highland Point - A GREAT place to live! |
